The SIG 516 was developed from the HK416 platform, but features simplified components to maintain compatibility with the AR-15. Another premium short-stroke gas piston rifle, it allows the use of a shortened barrel and/or a suppressor without causing excessive wear to its internal components. Widely used by special operations units around the world, it has also proven itself exceptionally effective within the Exclusion Zone.
