Public Tier Lists
Rankings of weapons, armor, artifacts and more, published by the STALCRAFT community. Open a list to see the full ranking, or use one as the starting point for your own.
Each list is one player's opinion, not an official STALCRAFT ranking.

About community tier lists
Everything in this catalog was made by players. This guide explains where the lists come from, how to find the ones that matter to you, how comparisons work and what a list can and cannot tell you.
How public tier lists work
Players build lists in the editor, sign in to save them, and choose whether to publish them. Each author decides the tier names, their colors and order, which items to include and where each one goes. A tier called S in one list and Must have in another mean whatever their authors meant by them.
A published list appears in this catalog for everyone. Likes and views help you discover lists that other players found interesting. They are not scores and not a measure of accuracy: likes come from signed-in players, each player can like a list once, and views do not count the author's own visits.
Finding rankings
The search box and filters work together, and the address bar keeps them, so a filtered catalog can be bookmarked or shared.
- Search looks for the text you type in list titles, author names and the names of ranked items. When a list matches only because of its items, its card names up to 3 of the matching items and the tier each one was placed in.
- Contains item shows only lists that rank one specific item. Each card then shows the tier that list placed the item in, so you can see at a glance how different players rate it.
- Content keeps lists that rank at least one item of the chosen kind, such as weapons, armor or artifacts. A list can match several categories.
- Open a list and use Find item to jump to an item in a long ranking.
How the sort orders work
- Newest: lists created most recently come first.
- Updated: lists whose author saved a change most recently come first, so an older list that was revised shows up again.
- Most liked and Most viewed: the most liked or most viewed lists come first. Popularity says how many players saw or liked a list, not whether its placements are right.
Comparing lists
On any list, Compare with lets you pick another public list. The comparison shows the items both lists rank and where each one placed them (In both), plus the items only one of them ranks.
Tier names belong to their authors, so a comparison never turns two layouts into a common score and never declares a winner. Placements are shown side by side as they are.
The Different tier view appears only when both lists use exactly the same tiers, with the same names in the same order. Only then does "a different tier" mean the same thing in both lists.
Reading a community list
A tier list is a quick way to see one player's priorities. Keep its limits in mind:
- It is the author's own ranking. It is not an official STALCRAFT ranking, and StalcraftMeta does not review or endorse it.
- How useful an item is depends on context: your build, your playstyle, the content you play and the current balance. An item low on one list can be the right choice for you.
- Lists are not updated automatically when the game changes. Check when a list was last updated.
- Look at several lists rather than one. Likes show interest, not proof that a list is correct.
- To check the numbers behind a placement, open the item's stats from the list, or use the Wiki, the DPS Table and the TTK Calculator.
Publishing and privacy
- The editor keeps your work in progress in this browser. Saving it to your account requires signing in, and you can keep up to 20 saved lists.
- Publish adds a saved list to this catalog, where anyone can find, open, like, compare and copy it. You can have up to 10 public lists at a time.
- A saved list that is not published, or that you Unpublish, never appears in the catalog, its search or the comparison picker. Anyone who has its direct link can still open it, so share private links only with people you trust.
- Create a copy starts a new list of your own from someone else's ranking. The original list is never changed.
- Individual list pages are not offered to search engines for indexing. This catalog is how public lists are discovered.
