STALCRAFT Meta note
The AVT-40 is a 7.62 rifle with automatic fire, a rare feature among sniper rifles. Its damage per shot is low for the class but does not drop with distance, and it fires quickly from a ten-round magazine. It is light, and its recoil and spread are in the middle of the class.

How these values are calculated
STALCRAFT Meta draws the damage chart for the selected upgrade level: full damage up to the falloff start, then a straight-line drop to minimum damage at the falloff end. The TTK Calculator and DPS Table use the same falloff model.
It shows damage per hit only, without ammo, armor or body-part multipliers.

In-game description (EXBO)
This assault rifle looks exactly the same as the SVT-40, with just a small alteration to the trigger mechanism. In terms of its weight and size, the AVT-40 is indistinguishable from the SVT-40. Due to some structural flaws, it wears out quickly, as continuous automatic fire can deform the receiver.
