STALCRAFT Meta note

The SVD-M is a 7.62 sniper rifle whose start and end damage are identical, so a hit deals the same damage at any distance up to its maximum range. Its rate of fire, recoil and spread all sit around the middle of the sniper class, giving a balanced profile rather than a specialised one. The stat table above shows the exact values at each upgrade level.

How these values are calculated

STALCRAFT Meta draws the damage chart for the selected upgrade level: full damage up to the falloff start, then a straight-line drop to minimum damage at the falloff end. The TTK Calculator and DPS Table use the same falloff model.

In-game description (EXBO)

An updated version of the SVD, developed to improve accuracy and ergonomics while preserving the reliability of the original. A new gas regulator, reinforced receiver, folding adjustable stock, Picatinny rail, and removable muzzle brake-compensator - in short, the complete gentleman's package for a modernized take on a 1963 classic. Its combination of ergonomics, modularity, and time-tested reliability has made this rifle system extremely popular throughout the CEZ.
