STALCRAFT Meta note
The RSh-12 is a 12.7 pistol whose per-shot damage is among the highest in its class, with tight aimed and hip-fire spread and a long maximum distance. The trade-offs are one of the smallest magazines among pistols, a low rate of fire, very heavy recoil and draw and aiming times among the slowest in its class. Damage starts falling off almost immediately, so it hits hardest at close range.
