STALCRAFT Meta note
The CR-72 is a Legend pistol that fires battery ammunition and ignores plates. It has the highest damage per shot and the longest maximum distance among pistols, along with the tightest spread and the lowest recoil. The costs are a low rate of fire, a small magazine, a slow draw and a long tactical reload. Damage starts dropping beyond close range, though its accuracy keeps longer shots on target.

STALCRAFT Meta draws the damage chart for the selected upgrade level: full damage up to the falloff start, then a straight-line drop to minimum damage at the falloff end. The TTK Calculator and DPS Table use the same falloff model.

In-game description (EXBO)
While it's hard to say that the CR-380 has become a sought-after weapon in the Zone, the frenzy with which wealthy stalkers snapped them up was noticed by ZIVCAS. The CR-72 was one of ZIVCAS's first successful attempts to adapt the unique design solutions of the Gauss rifle into a compact format. According to the manufacturer, the weapon is still undergoing field testing, which may lead to various technical issues.
