The Katran-1 Combat Knife is a hunter-type knife aimed at mutants, carrying a large damage multiplier against them. Its quick and strong attacks rank in the upper third of the melee category and reach is around the middle, but penetration is near the bottom, so it does little against armoured players. It suits PvE use; the stat table above shows the exact values.
