STALCRAFT Meta note
The DSA RPD is a 7.62 machine gun with a high rate of fire and a long maximum distance for its class, while its magazine is on the smaller side among machine guns. It can fire long bursts before overheating, and its recoil improves in the prone position. Its aimed spread is among the widest of the machine guns and its draw is slow. Damage holds until short-to-mid range before falloff begins.

In-game description (EXBO)
The DSA RPD is a modern reincarnation of the legendary Soviet Degtyaryov light machine gun, manufactured by the American company of the same name. Externally, it retains the unmistakable appearance of the original, with its distinctive bipod, protective front sight ears, and ammunition box, but incorporates modern upgrades such as a lightweight fluted barrel, an ergonomic polymer handguard, and an M4 telescoping stock. A rare but highly sought-after weapon within the CEZ.
