STALCRAFT Meta note
The FAL (A) is a 7.62 assault rifle with high per-shot damage for its class, a tight spread and only a small loss of damage over range once falloff begins at mid range. In return its vertical recoil is among the heaviest for an assault rifle, its magazine is small, its rate of fire is below average and its draw is slow. It suits controlled fire at a distance.

STALCRAFT Meta draws the damage chart for the selected upgrade level: full damage up to the falloff start, then a straight-line drop to minimum damage at the falloff end. The TTK Calculator and DPS Table use the same falloff model.
