The Steyr AUG A1 is a 5.56 bullpup assault rifle with damage that holds late, low horizontal recoil and tight hip-fire spread. Its damage per shot is among the lowest in its class, so damage per second is below average, and its reload is slower than most. The A2 shares the same numbers, while the A3 has more damage per shot.

In-game description (EXBO)
The Steyr AUG (which stands for "Armee Universal Gewehr," meaning "universal army rifle") is a range of small arms that was launched in 1977 by the Austrian company Steyr-Daimler-Puch. In this particular rifle, a bullpup layout has been used, whereby the magazine and breech are located behind the firing hand grip and the trigger. There are two firing modes: single-shot and full-automatic.
