Stalcraft Wiki: HK XM8S
STALCRAFT Meta note
The HK XM8S is a 5.56 assault rifle with an even profile: per-shot damage and rate of fire both sit in the upper third of its class, its maximum distance is on the longer side, and horizontal recoil is low with vertical recoil a little below average. Spread is on the tighter side. Damage starts falling past close-to-mid range; the stat table above lists exact values.

Damage Profile
How these values are calculated
STALCRAFT Meta draws the damage chart for the selected upgrade level: full damage up to the falloff start, then a straight-line drop to minimum damage at the falloff end. The TTK Calculator and DPS Table use the same falloff model.
It shows damage per hit only, without ammo, armor or body-part multipliers.
Values at each upgrade level come from EXBO's per-level data.
