The AUG A3 (A) is a 5.56 assault rifle with per-shot damage in the upper quarter of its class and a mid-pack rate of fire. Its spread is on the tighter side of the category, while vertical and horizontal recoil both sit around the middle. Reloads are among the slower in the class, and damage starts to drop past close-to-mid range; the stat table above lists exact values.

In-game description (EXBO)
The Steyr AUG (which stands for "Armee Universal Gewehr," meaning "universal army rifle") is a range of small arms that was launched in 1977 by the Austrian company Steyr-Daimler-Puch. In this particular rifle, a bullpup layout has been used, whereby the magazine and breech are located behind the firing hand grip and the trigger. There are two firing modes: single-shot and full-automatic.
