STALCRAFT Meta note
The AK-12 is a 5.45 assault rifle with balanced numbers: damage per shot, rate of fire and range all sit near the middle of its class. Its recoil is its strong point, with vertical and horizontal recoil both lower than most assault rifles, which makes long bursts easier to control. Damage per second lands in the lower half of the class.
