STALCRAFT Meta note
The AEK-973 Mars is the 7.62 version of the AEK family. It fires quickly but with lower damage per shot than most assault rifles, which puts its damage per second in the lower half of the class. Its damage holds up slightly further than the 5.45 AEK-971, but vertical recoil is higher and the gun is heavier.

How these values are calculated
STALCRAFT Meta draws the damage chart for the selected upgrade level: full damage up to the falloff start, then a straight-line drop to minimum damage at the falloff end. The TTK Calculator and DPS Table use the same falloff model.
It shows damage per hit only, without ammo, armor or body-part multipliers.
