STALCRAFT Meta note

The AK-203 is a 7.62 assault rifle with above-average damage per shot that holds up a little further than most AK models. Its rate of fire is slow, and its vertical and horizontal recoil are among the highest in the class, so it rewards short controlled bursts more than long sprays. Reload is slower than average.

In-game description (EXBO)

The AK-203 is a modernized version of the AK-103, with the number 203 denoting its export designation. It combines the time-tested reliability of the classic Kalashnikov with modern ergonomics: Picatinny rails on the receiver and handguard for mounting optics, flashlights, and lasers, a telescoping adjustable stock, and an ergonomic pistol grip. Within the Zone, it is a rare weapon obtained primarily through smuggling.
