Stalcraft Wiki: Steyr AUG A3
STALCRAFT Meta note
The Steyr AUG A3 is the strongest of the AUG models: higher damage per shot, a longer maximum distance and drop-off that starts late. It has a moderate rate of fire, moderate recoil and slightly tight aimed spread. Its damage per second is in the middle of the class, and its reload is slower than average.

Damage Profile
How these values are calculated
STALCRAFT Meta draws the damage chart for the selected upgrade level: full damage up to the falloff start, then a straight-line drop to minimum damage at the falloff end. The TTK Calculator and DPS Table use the same falloff model.
It shows damage per hit only, without ammo, armor or body-part multipliers.
Values at each upgrade level come from EXBO's per-level data.

In-game description (EXBO)
The Steyr AUG (which stands for "Armee Universal Gewehr," meaning "universal army rifle") is a range of small arms that was launched in 1977 by the Austrian company Steyr-Daimler-Puch. In this particular rifle, a bullpup layout has been used, whereby the magazine and breech are located behind the firing hand grip and the trigger. There are two firing modes: single-shot and full-automatic.
