Scientists who have worked with similar artifacts claim that the Ice Hedgehog is simply an ordinary Hedgehog that got into Discharge. Attempts to recreate the electrophysical artifact under controlled conditions, however, have never been successful. There are, nonetheless, more unusual hypotheses concerning the similarity of the artifacts. According to some of these theories, the appearance of various Hedgehogs is the result of colonies of unknown organisms, which use them as vessels, thus altering the artifact.
