Peg-Top is a biochemical artifact with the strongest psy-emissions purge of any artifact and the second-highest laceration protection, plus explosion protection. It has no downside in its main stats. Its additional stats can add bullet resistance, more laceration protection or more explosion protection.

In-game description (EXBO)
A peculiar anomalous formation of biochemical nature discovered by stalkers in the Wild North. Scientists are still unable to find clear explanations for why some artifacts appear only in certain areas. Of particular interest is the significant enhancement of anomalous properties, which has a general correlation with the distance from the Zone's boundaries. Such observations have become the foundation for the theory of the Epicenter. Experienced stalkers dwelling on the Zone's frontier, seeking paths to new territories, occasionally bring back previously unseen artifacts from their trips. According to Curie, such stalkers can host feasts for a week with the money that Research Institute 7 offers in exchange for such rarities.
