STALCRAFT Meta note
Steel Hedgehog is a biochemical artifact with the fourth-highest bullet resistance among artifacts, plus stamina, a little healing effectiveness and strong reaction to laceration. Its downside is psy-emissions buildup. Its additional stats can add more bullet resistance, laceration protection or stamina.

In-game description (EXBO)
This stony formation resembles both the Hedgehog and the Scrubber. However, unlike other artifacts, Steel Hedgehog has non-moving protrusions, and its glow is noticeably dimmer. It can be conjectured that the Steel Hedgehog is the final stage of the Hedgehog's metamorphosis, where all internal resource reserves have been completely depleted, and energy to sustain processes begins to be generated by the decomposition of metal-containing salts from the soil.
