A unique organic artifact that can be found only in the Wild North. Modern theory of artifactogenesis provides no reliable explanation for the formation process of anomalous structures. The appearance of the Loop and studies of its internal structure indicate the artifact's organic nature, which still offers no understanding of how such a formation could have formed. Many stalkers, in turn, believe that most artifacts form from certain objects caught in anomalies. Although scientists do not fully share these beliefs, some artifactology department employees conduct research in this direction, attempting to track the connection between specific objects in the anomaly's vicinity and the artifacts it creates.
