STALCRAFT Meta note
The Antares Exoarmor has the highest bullet resistance, explosion protection and bleeding protection among scientist suits, adds a stability bonus and ignores weapon effects on movement speed (does not apply to melee weapons). In return it has the largest movement speed penalty in the scientist class, a stamina penalty, thermal protection lower than many scientist suits, and electricity, fire and chemical resistance among the lowest in the class.

In-game description (EXBO)
One of the advanced developments of Research Institute 7, created in collaboration with the subsidiary atelier Horizon. Continuing the creation of suits for scientific activities, Research Institute 7 enlisted the support and expertise of Horizon's specialists to develop equipment suitable not only for exploring anomalous zones but also for direct combat with the fauna and contingents of the CEZ. However, not the best placement of servomotors and the non-standard closed breathing system make it less comfortable to use than other models designed by the institute.
