The Investigator Exoarmor has one of the largest movement speed bonuses among combo suits, the highest bleeding protection in the category and a bleeding reduction. Its laceration protection is upper-middle and its bullet resistance middling for a combo suit, while radiation, thermal, bioinfection and psy-emission protections match the category's highest. It trades durability for speed; the stat table above shows the values at each upgrade level.

Although the Frontier specializes in positional battles, this armored suit has become very popular among investigators, earning its name. Fighters of the Frontier claim that the suit's high mobility not only allows them to reach the target faster, but also to catch up with the fastest members of the Rise who use the Hounds.
