The Scythian-5 Armored Suit pairs high bullet resistance, laceration and explosion protection for a combo suit with a small movement speed bonus instead of a penalty. Its radiation, thermal, bioinfection and psy-emission protections match the highest in the category and it adds a carry weight bonus, while electricity, fire and chemical resistance are middling. Bullet resistance per upgrade level is in the stat table above.

In-game description (EXBO)

The advanced army armored suit for conducting assault operations within the Zone, specifically developed at the request of Headquarters in collaboration with Research Institute 7. Thanks to its protection against both anomalous and combat threats, Scythian-5 quickly gained popularity among many military stalkers, who were the first to showcase the armored suit within the CEZ. However, regular stalkers soon had the opportunity to try this latest military development, which quickly entered the Zone's market through contrabandists' grey channels.
