//Go beyond raw DPS. Master the ballistics, lethality, and armor mechanics of every weapon in Stalcraft.

Raw DPS (Damage Per Second) is one of the most misleading stats in Stalcraft. It ignores distance, armor plates, healing, and human error. Our TTK Calculator is built to bridge the gap between spreadsheet math and actual combat in the Zone.

The Monte Carlo Method

Our calculator doesn't just use a single formula; it runs thousands of Monte Carlo combat simulations for every configuration. This means we simulate every single bullet being fired, checking for misses based on your accuracy presets, calculating damage drop-off at that specific meter, and tracking the target's health and plate durability in real-time. This approach captures the stochastic nature of combat, where a few lucky headshots or a mistimed healing tick can completely change the outcome of a duel.

Realistic Accuracy Presets

Winning a duel isn't just about having the better gun; it's about hitting your shots. You can customize your Hit Distribution (Head, Body, Limbs, and Misses) to match your real performance. By moving away from "perfect" 100% accuracy models, you can see how weapons truly perform in high-pressure scenarios.

  • High Precision: Focuses heavily on headshots, revealing the high-skill ceiling of certain weapon classes.
  • Balanced Performance: A more realistic spread of hits, showing which weapons are more forgiving when you aren't perfectly on target.
  • Center of Mass: Simulates a focus on body shots, where stability and rate of fire often outweigh raw damage-per-bullet.

Understanding Armor Plates

Armor plates provide an additional layer of protection that exclusively protects against body shots. While your armor and artifacts form your primary defensive foundation (providing Bullet Resistance and Vitality), plates act as a sacrificial buffer that absorbs a high percentage of incoming damage until their durability is depleted.

Plate Penetration vs. Shredding

The interaction between bullets and plates is governed by two main factors:

  • Plate Penetration: This stat (primarily found on specific Ammo types and some rare Weapons like the Gauss Rifle) allows a portion of the damage to bypass the plate entirely and deal direct health damage.
  • Plate Damage: Some configurations are designed as 'plate shredders'. Using specific Weapon Modules (like the Perforator) or specialized Ammo, you can increase the durability damage dealt to the plate, breaking the target's additional defense faster.

Advanced Weapon Modules

To stay at the top of the meta, you must account for Weapon Modules. These components add complex behaviors to your weaponry:

  • Hunter Module: Scales damage based on the target's missing health, making it an exceptional "finisher".
  • Thermos & Finisher: Provide bonuses to the first or last rounds in a magazine, rewarding specific engagement styles.
  • Compressor & Decompressor: Modify the damage curve itself, allowing you to optimize your weapon for specific range brackets.
  • Sniper & Headsman: Enhance modifiers for specific hit zones, rewarding high-precision marksmen.

The Infinite Fight Probability

One of the most unique features of our calculator is the ∞ Fight % (Infinite Fight Probability) metric. This identifies situations where a target's healing-per-second exceeds your average damage-per-second at a specific range, or when you simply lack the magazine capacity to secure a kill.

If you see a high ∞ Fight %, it means that even if you fire your entire magazine, the target is statistically likely to survive due to their regeneration. This is a clear sign that you are outside your weapon's effective combat range or that your current Ammo/Module choice is insufficient for the target's defenses.

Precision and Data Stability

To provide stable and realistic data, we use a 95% Trimmed Mean. This discards the most extreme 5% of simulation outliers—those rare cases of extreme luck or bad luck that don't reflect consistent performance. The result is a TTK value you can actually rely on during your next trip to the North.

Comparison Mode

Don't just look at one weapon. Use Comparison Mode to overlay multiple weapon, ammo, and module configurations on the same chart. This allows you to see exactly at what distance a 7.62 Battle Rifle starts to outperform a 5.45 Assault Rifle, or how much extra lethality you gain by switching to Incendiary or AP ammunition against a specific target dummy build.

I've played Stalcraft for over 8,000 hours on the NA server, mostly in high-tier competitive subdivisions. During that time, I spent a lot of my own time figuring out how to get the most out of my gear. I used my background in software engineering to build Stalcraft Meta, turning those calculations into tools others can use.
